SHAHEED NAMAN YATRA AT VILLAGE BUSODH, EVENING OF 18TH JULY, 2015

Every man who could hold a weapon came out in the village to challenge a colonial military force. Each one of them was killed. The village was burnt, and after the Uprising died out all the lands were auctioned off. Even today the village is one of the poorest in the region and consists primarily of labourers, all for having faught for freedom. But the fire still lives on in its residents as can be seen from these photographs.
