MR. AMIT RAI JAIN

He is involved in the study of a wide range of subjects linked to the field of history including Numismatics science, Manuscriptology, Archaeology and religious literature.

He is MA in five subjects namely Hindi, Political Science, Ancient History, Philosophy and Journalism & Mass Communication. He has also done LLB. He has Diplomas in Human Rights and Disaster Management. He has done a Certificate Course in Prakrit Language and has mastered the Pali and Brahmi scripts.
He is life member of Numismatics Society of India, Indian Archaeological Society, Rock Art Society of India, Paleo Research Society and Indian History and Culture Society.
He is at present doing research work on the Mathura School of Art. He is also working in the field of historical research in Dist. Baghpat where he was instrumental in the discovery of a late Harrapan burial site in November 2014. He is also working with the other compilers of this book in documenting the sites linked to the Uprising of 1857 of Dist. Baghpat. He has written two books namely Mahaveer Sansmarita and Amratputra Mahaveer.
